This is true, but you know how KG is when it comes to loyalty. Dude is loyal to a fault.

He stayed on that Minnesota team WAY TOO LONG. Thankfully he got out just in time to get at least one ring, but a player like Kevin Garnett having just 1 ring is ridiculous. That rare combination of talent, athleticism, versatility, height, leadership and work ethic should have birthed at least 4 rings in his career.

Hopefully age and the realization that he's on his way out of the league has put priorities in perspective. He was a great Celtic but the reality is that team is not winning another championship as currently constructed and it's; time to rebuild. This is a win win for Garnett and the Celtics to me. A win win win actually because of the Clippers suddenly becoming a real thread in the post season.

You make some fair points. At this point in his career, though, I think KG may be willing to jump ship for a team with a better chance of winning right now. And that, to me, is clearly the Clippers. I would've thought differently, perhaps, if Rondo and Sullinger didn't go down.

Additionally, if he goes to LA he would reconnect with Chauncey Billups. That might be a motivator for him, too.

KG is too loyal. He wants to finish as a Celtic.

i hope for the lakers sake this deal doesnt go down. if cp3 can stay healthy, bledsoe is expendable once billups returns and matt barnes takes most of the sf minutes, with hill finally healthy able to back him up. cp3 crawford barnes/hill kg blake :wow:

this better not happen

:laff:
this must be one of those low-ball offers that danny ainge was talking about.
:laff:

maybe if they replaced caron butler with deandre & a draft pick.

they dont need caron. they already have pierce and jeff green.

the clippers are fine why would they do that :why:

garnett would make them a more serious contender for the title.

lets be real, they have a punchers chance of making it out of the west, but we really wouldnt be surprised if they dont make it out the 2nd round. hell, i wouldnt be surprised if the nuggets take them out in the 1st round.

No one has said why the Celtics would do this trade.

They get a backup PG and a SF who's about to turn 33? They get nothing out of this potential trade.

Don't K.G live in La?

I could see him waiving is trade clause to join the clips

They would be dangerous. Paul and garnett candidates run the pick and roll while Blake can roam
shyt would be fun to watch.

If the Clippers can't resign Bledsoe than they should make this trade if possible. They need another frontcourt player and KG would probably be the best available. Though if im the Celtics, i would think i could get more than Caron Butler to go along with Bledsoe.
