This is true, but you know how KG is when it comes to loyalty. Dude is loyal to a fault.

He stayed on that Minnesota team WAY TOO LONG. Thankfully he got out just in time to get at least one ring, but a player like Kevin Garnett having just 1 ring is ridiculous. That rare combination of talent, athleticism, versatility, height, leadership and work ethic should have birthed at least 4 rings in his career.

Hopefully age and the realization that he's on his way out of the league has put priorities in perspective. He was a great Celtic but the reality is that team is not winning another championship as currently constructed and it's; time to rebuild. This is a win win for Garnett and the Celtics to me. A win win win actually because of the Clippers suddenly becoming a real thread in the post season.

would that not make him look bytch made to allow a trade to happen after shytting on ray for allowing his contract to end and chosing to join the heat?

No. This would be the team trying to get rid of him as opposed to him trying to leave.

Great point, and that ties back to my point about that boy being loyal to the core. He'd rather stink on the Celtics than "sell out" and go to the Clippers.

With that said, Ray Allen didn't leave via trade. His deal was up and he signed with a different team. It'd be a little different story if Danny Ainge went to KG and said "Kevin, we're looking to rebuild the team and we have an offer on the table with LA that'd help us and put you in a great position to go out a champion."

I think he wouldn't see himself as being disloyal if the team made it known they don't want him anymore lol.

I do think the LA Clippers would be a strong possibility if the Celtics were willing to listen to offers on KG

There's probably not too many teams he'd approve a trade to, but I could see Clippers, Minnesota, and Chicago as a few options

Brooklyn will be interested too

As far as the rumored deal, I like Bledsoe but I'm not sure where he'd fit into our long term plans

kg would never accept that

also why would boston trade it's only big man for a pg and sf?

if anything they would get back deandre jordan, bledsoe and possibly another player not caron butler

I would welcome Garnett in a Clipps uniform

Why?

You wanna get rid of a great young player like Bledsoe and a tough leader like Caron Butler for old ass Kevin Garnett? Why? I mean I guess he can stretch the floor, but still...I'd keep what I have.

The Clippers have too much talent, but not enough to start throwing it away.

Count them out. I'd love to see it, but the next time KG wears anything Wolves related, we're retiring his number and the owner's dead.

Yeah it'd be a good story... I listed them because its a team he may waive his clause for but it wouldn't make sense for Minnesota. I could see the celtics having interest in pekovic, but for Minnesota, with all their injuries it's not like KG would put him over the top.

Clippers are definitly the team to watch for KG and Pierce

It's not that it wouldn't make sense from a basketball perspective, but he wouldn't waive his no-trade clause to go there. Too many bridges got burned, and I'm saying this as if we were still in the hunt, he'd say no.
