May have been somewhat accurate at the time because more coaches were hard-asses back then but him being terrible in NE is overblown. He went 10-6, 9-7, 8-8. In the last year, he started 4-0 and lost 1 game by 1, one game by 2 and one by 3. Had a terrible end stretch but Bledsoe had more picks than tds and his lead rusher had 3.5 YPC and 8 fumbles. defense was still nice (young milloy/law/bruschi + prime mcginest and chris slade) and they lost Robert Edwards in that bullshyt beach football ACL tear (he had over 1000 yds and 9 tds the year before at 24 years old)
