media is always late. but if they finna slobber luck they shouldve done so to russ already. russ is the best out of the new qb of this era. luck is close but he needs to cut down on turnovers

I agree though that vick comparison is unwarranted, since they were pretty different qbs, and its only made out of thin air because both are black. vick was a run-first qb.

I'd put Luck ahead of Russ. But Russ is 2nd in that class.

Aaron is the best Qb in the league by a good margin,, Wilson is good but in terms of the future A.Luck can be one of the best ever to play, he looks like a player thats been in the league for 14 years but hes still a kid. R.Wilson came into the league on a team with a great coach and ready to win that all plays a huge part in the growth of a Qb Vick never got that, they will never be another Mike Vick in 2010 we seen a player you could not defend he beat you with both his legs and arm a older more mature Vick, had Vick had proper coaches in his early years things would have been different I am sure. I am also not ready to give up on Rg3 becoming a great Qb.

he single handily almost beat the Falcons in the 2012 Playoffs, beat the Saints, 49ers and won the Super Bowl with his play....

Vick lost in the 1st round at home to the Packers in 2010 :mjlol:
excuse me you mean he single handly beat the saints? Football is a team sport take that single handed shyt somewhere else, when a player can defend wideouts, block for himself get sacks and picks come back to this thread.

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
Coming up with the Falcons Vick never had the caliber team Wilson had surrounding him.. especially THE DEFENSE.. Its hard to naturally develop certain aspects to your game when you're singlehandedly carrying an entire team on your back and the defense not holding you down forcing you to keep scoring.. when went to the Eagles he had that one good season off the bench, but after that he never had a competent O-line on top of all the flukey ass injuries that kept him missing games...

vick was never on a team with a front office.
who properly staffed his team.
on that staff, happens to be the next best rb of the gen after adrian peterson as well.
plus, vick was never coached.
by the coach who had the full braintrust and edge.
on an entire generation of players for the next ten years, or so.

completely unfair comparison

Not to mention Vick never had a complete o-line

That 2010 Vick Season was unbelievable. I like Russell but, Vick looked like God out there at times. How fast we forget :mjcry: That Redskins blowout. The Giants comeback. The second Giants game. If Vick learned to play like that earlier in his career, he would have changed the league. He should've got MVP but, they gave it to Brady of course. That was Vick's year to win the Super Bowl but, well....we got to Green Bay and :mjcry: Vick just couldn't shake the injuries (mainly from running too much) and about 3 years of his prime was taken from him.

Russell Wilson is what Mike Vick could've been with

The top defense in the league :lupe:
A complete beast running the ball :lupe:
A coach who calls plays to his strengths :lupe:
Vick would still throw picks and get hurt

I don't see a problem with what stephen a said. At first reading the thread title i was like :what: then i put my childhood vick stannery to the side and saw it for what it is. It makes total sense, Wilson knows how to balance his running and throwing, always stays looking downfield if he can make a pass rather than take off, just overall plays the game smarter
