yes, she's not an ordinary prisoner and as such she's leapfrogged plenty of others who've been waiting around for years. she has a media presence and notoriety in general - that's still a long cry from being a spy or something. that's really more like.... the opposite of what you'd be going for

Its hell getting anyone released from Iran and NK on a good day. If they were knee deep in a months long war? shyt, they'd probably be even worse.

Diplomatic talks between US/Russia has been in a bad spot the entire year. Its only gonna get worst if Russia blow up that nuclear plant or drop a dirty bomb.

the price went up exactly because people felt obligated to highlight her on social media, in the news, etc. and in doing so convinced them that she was worth some huge prisoner exchange

That's too much for only .7 grams of cannabis oil, which could all fit in one vape pen, not to mention it was subscribed by her doctor for pain. I didn't know all this until now, or I forgot. Before, I was hearing certain you-tube personalities saying she was distributing a lot of it, and she should have known better, and they therefore have no pity for her. Now I'm finding out she wasn't distributing anything, however I do believe she should have been more careful, especially with the tension between the US and Russia. Maybe she thought since she had a doctors note, it was okay. One way or another, this should be no more than a fine.
