With all the bases in Japan, an attack on Japan would mean war with the USA. It could be proxy but eventually one of them would attack America with some big shyt (N Korea)

I was in the Marines there, and those of us who are stationed in Japan don’t have to go to Iraq or Afghanistan..we’re there just in case Russia, China or North Korea did anything crazy.

We constantly train with Japan’s defense force. It woulda got ugly quick

Their Aegis defense systems are among the best in the world and also equipped them on like 8 of their warships, which would basically have to guarantee Russia would have to use their Navy to try and physically enter Japan, which would instantly get us involved since we have based there and Korea.

Putin used his better judgement to not instantly start WW3 had he done anything, as unlike Ukraine, Japan is a standing member in a lot of coalitions .
