A couple of simple questions
1. How has the courts(whether SC or local courts) benefitted black people in the past 12 years?
2. Given that Biden is white supremacist(and was mentored by Strom Thurmond), do you honestly expect Biden to select judges that will advocate of our behalf?
1. Look at it from this perspective. Let’s say Democrats have a better candidate next election, if Trump puts someone like Tom Cotton on the Supreme Court, he’s young and healthy enough to be there for the rest of his life. It doesn’t matter who gets elected, the Supreme Court justices are lifetime appointments. Any decent president, or politicians could have republicans taking things to the Supreme Court, and getting struck down. And civilians take things to the Supreme Court, and they can make major changes that negatively affect black people.
On top of that, ALL politicians make decisions that effect black people that have nothing to do with race. And you know the talk of ending affirmative action will get major steam with another conservative judge, especially Tom Cotton, who is against critical race theory, which states that race has an effect on the chances of success. THAT is who may be on the Supreme Court.
2. Joe will most likely choose a person of color. Even if it’s pandering, it’s still a better choice than anyone Trump will pick.
