The whole vamp arc was horror you're tripping
Sinners has too many plot holes to be perfect to me. Even Mickey 17 and Novocaine tied it together better.Black Bag was boring as shyt. Michael Fassbender literally made the same movie/tv series three times in a row (e.g. The Killer, Black Bag, The Agency).
So far this year, I watched Drop, Locked, Hell of a Summer, Mickey 17, Novocaine, Den of Thieves II, Nosferatu, Until Dawn, and Heart Eyes in theaters. I enjoyed Heart Eyes, Den of Thieves, Novocaine, and Drop. Nosferatu had the aesthetic/ambiance you'd want in a horror movie but, something about it felt blah. In comparison, Sinners is a grade above all of those films breh. The plot was better. The cinematography was gorgeous. The characters stayed with you afterward which is not something you can say about Until Dawn or Heart Eyes, for example, and that's why Sinners went viral and those movies didn't.
Just for it on YouTube.I cant wait for the BTS stuff to come out.
I need to see how they made smoke and stack interact so flawlessly.
Mbj did his thing.
All they did was dance you dumb fukk? You mean the vampire arc with friendly ass “let’s all be a family” dancing vampires?![]()
All they did was dance you dumb fukk?
We just gonna ignore them eating and hunting people
IMDB literally classified this movie as horror

This grumpy ass dude woke up playing semanticsnikka please they didn’t eat anybody.
Most of the “deaths” which was really just infecting a person to join “the family” was done OFF screen.
The vampires did more talking and negotiating than actual hunting.
So where exactly was the horror in the movie with regards to the vampires?
The movie has horror elements but it is not a horror movie. People who don’t even like horror movies could watch this movie with no problem.
i enjoyed it and kinda wish I seen it in iMax to fully see the visualsStrong 4/5. It’s not a 5/5.
For the masses it’s gonna be a classic.
the final shoot out really needs better integration. Thats one glaring fault for me.i enjoyed it and kinda wish I seen it in iMax to fully see the visuals
Other than that this movie is far from perfect and there were parts of the story that lost me or just didn’t make sense. Not sure why he never revisited the Natives chasing down the vampire, it really could have added to the story and a possible cliffhanger near the end.
The music was really dope tho
The point isnt that him singing invites evil, it's that it transcends a period of time and unites the entire legacy of our ancenstors and future descendents. But because it's so soulfully transcendent, evil will also be drawn to it. But the gift itself is not evil, our culture is not evil, even if vultures circle around wanting to get a piece of it.
I think his decision to keep singing the blues specifically relates to the final post credit scene, where he sings this little light of mine. That light can draw attention from any number of characters and forces and spirits. But he's going to shine it no matter what.
This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine,
Everywhere I go, I’m gonna let it shine
All around the world, I’m gonna let it shine
Let it shine Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
See…yall can’t hide the errors for ever...
