But thankfully, the CinemaScore will stay at an 'A'. And the CinemaScore is from VERIFIED ticket buyers

Didn’t see it in theaters. Copped the digital release yesterday.

GREAT film.

Should be up for at least two Academy Awards: Best Original Screenplay and Best Cinematography.

Michael B’s acting ability has taken a huge leap.

My breh Delroy Lindo held it down, of course.

Hell, everybody held it down acting-wise.

Legitimately no negative things I can say about the film.

Not sure if and when he was turned, but Cass was bit during the Easter Uprising in the Preacher comics and makes it to modern day.

What I didn’t get about this movie was the Vampire power set. I saw vampires being thrown around like they were humans. What happened to enhanced strength, especially the twins fight how the hell did he manage to beat the Vampire twin. Also there is talks of a part 2 where could they possibly take the story?

Not sure about the whole power set, I know the main vampire guy could fly.

Also the twins vampire fight- Its alluded that the voodoo or whatever charm he was wearing that his girl gave him protected him in that moment.
Notice he is unharmed until after he takes it off to fight the KKK

Yeah I peeped that the main vampire guy could fly, the fight between the two twins I am talking about the human twin overpowering his brother. Also the way they was throwing the vampires around would indicate these Vampires don’t have enhanced strength. Nothing wrong with it was just curious as to what they were capable of.

yes, like i said i think it was meant to be taken as the charm was allowing that.

I can see it nominated for cinematography, but screenplay no.
Micheal B jordan is serviceable, but he can't really do accents his accent in this movie and in the other movie he had about being a lawyer from alabama were terrible. He should go the denzel route and just ignore the accent. Denzel didn't try in Glory, mississippi masala, devil in a blue dress, or the last netflix movie he did when he was supposed to be from Alabama.

Didn't hurt his portrayal or performance, but its better to just be you when doing a failed accent detracts.

facts, but its kinda disappointing that our most visible american actors are like that.
Reason why brits be taking all the roles.
Tom cruise i think does it better, he got clowned for terrible accents early in his career, now he just avoids taking roles where you are expected to have an accent. Instead of sounding like a harlem transplant in alabama, how about set your movie in harlem?
