Not really, Brits get roles because they are cheaper.
The US gives them a cutout in SAG rates that they exploit.
This is why you see them in American film, doing generic accents, and being over praised by the media.
They do shytty american accents, they use wrong terminology in film, like saying the boot when they are supposed to be americans and the editors letting it stay in.
There is only one UK actor that does American exceptionally well and thats Delroy Lindo. They rearely praise him for how good he does his american accents, but give praise for jude law, micheal caine, and etc when they do shytty antiquated southern accents or "western" accents. lol
The two gay guys from Atlanta, paperboi and the weirdo guy are excellent actors and do great accents, but they are eccentrics.
Seeing it again on streaming and yea Delroy should get an Oscar nom.I loved it. Everybody killed it especially Delroy Lindo and Ms. Annie
MBJ playing both roles was dope as well
then the reveal at the end. He couldn't kill his brother. Damn
Oh naw that's been an IN gif for awhileNew "In" gif off that

I think the film was alluding to the amount of time Remmick was a vampire made his powers much stronger. He was over a 1,000 years old. What I didn’t get about this movie was the Vampire power set. I saw vampires being thrown around like they were humans. What happened to enhanced strength, especially the twins fight how the hell did he manage to beat the Vampire twin. Also there is talks of a part 2 where could they possibly take the story?
What???
That's enuff from you![]()
Breh! Slim tells Sammie that the magic of blues wasn’t forced on Black people like Christianity was. “We brought this from home.” is literally the line.
