Does Sinners still work if Jon Majors was one of the twins?

I think Majors would’ve been Smoke and Jordan, Stack but honestly the way Mike played it and with Majors range they coulda did it either way.

I agree, smoke felt like the bigger brother to me. And i fell like MBJ would make more sense as the little brother to Majors.
However i agree with @Human Torch majors has such range, he probably would've been better as the charasmic stack too, plus he likes pawging like stack
The twin work, CGI, shooting on film and trying make authentic 1930s era is what ate up a lot of the budget. Its why if this in the 90s they definitely would have had to make them just regular brothers as a compromise.

On topic....who would have been the best combo of Smoke/Stack brothers in the 90s:jbhmm:

Smoke - Denzel Washington
Stack -Wesley Snipes

or

Smoke - Samuel L Jackson
Stack - Eddie Murphy

or

Smoke -Laurence Fishburne
Stack - Will Smith

or mix/match or add/subtract someone you would include.

That combo or one of them paired with Jamie Foxx.
I dont think Will wouldve had it in him to play the role with a seriousness where he willing to shoot someone like Smoke/Stack did them dudes trying to steal from his truck. Maybe the same could be said about Jamie, but I believe he couldve pulled it off :manny:

Fishburne/Jackson I see more as the delta slim role.

I think Pac wouldve done decent in the role as one of the brothers too, paired with Denzel/Snipers or Jamie.

Jamie would have been talented enough, but he didn't really get taken serious until 99 imo. So I guess he technically fits but he really got his shine in the 2000s.
Maybe Don Cheadle cause he was doing serious roles during that time. And yes now that I think about it Pac would have been a good Stack. Poetic Justice/Gridlock'd Pac would have fit.

Somebody like Morgan Freeman would be Delta in those days. Fishburne is younger than Denzel. Hoodlum and King of New York Fishburne could definitely play Smoke or Stack. He just always appeared older than he is. Although you could re-imagine it as one of their peers they saw when coming back. Come to think of it him and Cuba would be a combo.

Modern day MBJ and JM would have been perfect. MBJ as smoke and JM as stack would have basically been creed 3 again which would have been great
