I like Saban as a coach but it has to be said that in any given season there's only 1 or 2 games per year where he doesn't have a stark advantage in overall roster talent. I don't think it's a real apples to apples comparison

Although there are obvious similarities, it really requires two different skillsets to excel at each level. For instance, I don't believe Beli's "Do your job" philosophy would work as well with such drastically varying degrees of talent on the roster (future pro talent lined up next to future accountants). And we saw how Saban performed dealing with a roster full of pro level talent playing against pro level talent each week. :manny:

College is won and lost in the recruiting trail. In the NFL, it's all about X's and O's.

Saban is the GOAT recruiter. I'll take BB coaching the team.

Sure the NFL is the highest level, but I mean it's all relative though.

Saban has to do it with practically brand new teams every 3 years. Bill has had continuity at the most important position, QB, for his entire tenure for the most part.

Nevermind the fact that you have to win EVERY week essentially in college. Nevermind the fact that the Patriots are constantly caught cheating and given handouts by the league.

I'm going with Saban, fukk how you feel.
What a stupid post.

The average nfl career is 3 years, nfl teams have crazy turnover year in and year out
