This album is right on the same level as Warning Shots maybe even better then Warning Shots. A cool sequel to the first.
this is the worst product Saigon has given us to date. What made GSNT album of the year for me was that it gave me a complete package of cohesiveness, production, storytelling, mc'ing, and message all wrapped in one.
...Sai is better than this.this is the worst product Saigon has given us to date. What made GSNT album of the year for me was that it gave me a complete package of cohesiveness, production, storytelling, mc'ing, and message all wrapped in one.
This album is forced and contrived. Saigon is currently dealing with the problem most conscious rappers (Nas, Lu, Kweli, Krs) faced and that is wanting to be the moral compass of hip-hop so bad that they become almost a caricature of themselves....
Compare that to a rapper like pac who was gifted enough to depict the duality of the streets without sounding like somebody Uncle trying to teach young buls a lesson.
Lets not even get started on the crossover single attempts...Sai is better than this.
