I bet you wish the edit was true.

Iphones will forever be a "status" symbol. There will always be sheeple. Even if the phone gets WORSE than Androids (they sorta are, already...sorta)....there will be people who get them.

Apple needs to really step up and add something that people haven't seen before. A lot of the innovative features they bring to their phones usually have been seen on other phones before. That kinda takes the innovation away from it, ya know what I mean?

Apple needs to make better phones, period.

In before *don't break what's not broken*

A Mercedes is also a status symbol. So is a Rolex. And they are still both quality products that SOME people are willing to pay for. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Does Apple need better software? Ya a better operating system is a must. But on the hardware side of things they are doing just fine. Unless you want them to give you a 6" screen for the sake of a 6" screen and then call that innovation (looking at you Samsung).

I agree with you. But it trips me out when Apple announces new features. They gas them up like they are so innovative....but Android had those features for years. :smh:

Their customers never seem to see this, either. :smh:

It goes both ways. 90% of android features were on ios first.

Nah, man. Hardware wise, they are KILLING the game. iOS need to be revamped. It's so boring.

:ld:

And Android looked like a lot like RIM's OS until after the iPhone was released.

I'm not an Android fan. They have shyt that irritates me too. But I just can't see how some people hold onto a brand so hard that sells them bullshyt everytime. lol

I went from 4s to the S3, and it was one of the worst decisions i have ever made.

I have to constantly be conscious of the battery life, i have to monitor my usage so the battery doesn't drain too fast. I have to constantly close apps individually so it doesn't drain additional battery. The overall interface is very glitchy. True you can customize the shyt out of it, but only at the expense of a worser battery life. I hate how you have to put everything through the memory card individually. Also, the android systems are rarely upgraded. There's just too many problems. Overall, the experience has been very poor. And being in the telecommunication industry, this is the #1 complaints with the android. The iphone interface (while outdated) provides a great experience. You can take the phone out of the box and start to use it and be an expert in about 24 hours. I'm 10 months in with my S3 and I still don't know most features on it, nor do I care to know.

All I know is as soon as the iphone 5s comes out with the new ios7, i'm going back to the iphone. :pacspit: @ samsung.

I own an HTC One. :ooh: You don't have to own an iPhone to realize why it legtimately appeals to people. Only blind hypocritical fanboys fandroids can't see that.

Breh, I'm far from a fandroid. You posted before my edit. I understand why it appeals. I don't understand sheep.

And that's not just with fans of iphones. Why buy Kellogs cereal if they made the boxes smaller, but kept the price the same?

fukk that...shop smarter than that.

Seriously. They're talking about idrones like there aren't tons of pseudo hipsters who go "iPhones suck" without having any legitimate reasoning. They're always always using a nice android phone with NO fukkING CLUE about any of the features they have available to them in the first place

I moved over to the HTC One because the iPhone 5 wasn't a worthy upgrade over my 4 and 4s.

I own an iPad Mini an iPad 2 and a Macbook Pro. I buy Apple because they make quality products.

I'm proof that when Apple doesn't innovate enough and a worthy competitor is out there, their users WILL jump ship. The HTC One's build did that for me.

Iphone users act like its still 2009 when they had the superior phone and everybody else was trying to catch up...

Well now everyone has caught up, The iphone hasn't added anything new in the past few years but yet they still defend them to the death...

I don't love none these phones, I'll switch whenever cause 80% of them hoes do basically the same shyt. I just don't understand cats (on both sides) defending these phones like they are the ones who created them...

As far the commerical, The only feature that really got my attenetion is the remote control. but I have a feeling its only gonna be with certain TV and probably gonna be hell to program them

this is just a BS excuse.

No it's not 2009, but the smartphone platform has peaked. Now all we're getting is re-hash of old technology with a different twist to it. And frankly 99% of the users don't know how to use it or don't care to use it.

Samsung crushed the buildings because of the bigger screen. That's what attracted most users. Then Samsung comes back with the S3S, which every reviewer has bashed it for not being innovative enough. And IIRC, Samsung was found guilty of copying iphone user interface. Looking back, compared to the original Samsung touch phone that came out, to the S3S, it's very obvious that they blatantly copied Apple.

Basically, it's hard being on top. Someone will eventually catch-up.

I'm holding a HTC One with a Unibody design that tells me something different...

Also, haven't you been paying attention to the news. Apple was awarded how many billions of dollars from Samsung? HTC and a bunch of other companies paid out or partnered up in order to avoid similar lawsuits.

People aren't paying attention. Apple's innovations are now called 'industry standards'. People take them for granted as "oh that's obvious, that's how all phones look/work."

But I guess when Samsung adds 1" to their screens and let's you wave at your phone to browse the web people are like :ahh: innovation.
