My s3 isn't even 5 months old, I should have waited.
i got mine on black Friday so I'm in the same boat. couldn't keep waiting with the s1 tho. now I'm on the Android side but the way i see it, this phone technology is getting so ridiculous that it's gonna become impossible to invent anything new. the thing that i like better on Android is the screen size. i know people with the 4 and i just can't have a screen that small. far as quality haven't had any issues so far. i never had an iphone so i can't comment on their features. think siri might be better to Android version but whoever said google eco was better is correct. it just flows so smoothly. gmail, calendar, maps, google now all integrated. and people mention that iphone sells more, which i doubt is true worldwide, but it wasn't until i believe the 4, that iPhone was available on carriers other than at&t. that's what gave Android the edge in sales since other carriers offered their phones. there are still users with phones operating the first few Android os. who's to say that if iPhone was released on other carriers originally that they wouldn't have way more sales. i think Samsung started the multi carrier phones with the first galaxy, might be wrong tho. they do make some part for the iphone. processor maybe? i don't think they ethered apple since they still have their core followers, just like Android has. but i do think apple isn't going to win the war. maybe in us but the international market too big and Android wining that right now.
