I get we're all in on Shallah Saquon, but it shouldn't be lost on everyone that he's a 28 yr old RB with an injury history looking at siginficant wear between this and next season. If he goes down, we really relying on Will Shipley to lead the ground game?
Not just it ain't broke don't fix, slot corner is incredibly valuable in today's game.
A lockdown boundary like Quinyon holds more weight but it's no coincidence the Maddox/DeJean swap coincided with the defense flipping the switch. You can live with someone like Rodgers losing contested 1 on 1s on the outside, it cripples your defense when Amon-Ra, JJ, Chase, Puka, Lamb are obliterating the middle of the field over and over.

ngl, im 100% happy saquon got rewarded and it is well deserved, but this is one of my concerns. i really dont want saquon hard carrying our offense again next year with 300+ carries. we need a decent backup to make it a borderline RB committee and/or our passing game to carry the load next year. i want saquon healthy for us for the long haul because this core is gonna be around a while.

I still feel that becton is gonna sign a team friendly 1 year deal, especially how that man was crying getting into a playoff game, and every game after that.

The guy playing next to him will obviously benefit
People are going to pay Milton DT1 money. He hasn't proven he deserves it.
Especially with Ojomo behind him. DT2 money maybe. But I think some team is going to pay him to be the centerpiece of their DLine. And I'm not sure he's even the second best player on our DLine so I don't think we can match that offer.
