I mean think about it :jbhmm:

What kinda man/men like seeing other brehs draws and booty to the point of imitating it?

What kinda life was dude living when he decided sagging brought him the social recognition he wanted?

I’m just saying man, brehs a lot of irrelevant shyt gay but a man walkin around with his ass out was cool enough to become a fashion staple :hubie:

Well the urban myth is that it was a non Harlem way to flag down booty bandits on concrete island vacations.

No way to truly know.

A gentle sag is cool. That shyt with your whole ass out was never cool. Tying your belt to your thigh meats and showing off the pelvis was wild mango.

Anytime shyt happened and you watched someone have to pull their shyt up to run or do that duck run it was hilarious. Getting beat out ya pants in a fight cuz they was already half off or a person taking an L tripping on them was FML status.

There should be a limit :laff:

Above the fray.
Kids copying rappers and street dudes. Fewer fathers in the home to IMMEDIATELY check that style of dressing, and spiraled since the 90s.

When the hiphop fashion labels exploded in the 90s......dudes were sagging to show off the top band of underwear they had on.

Was tacky then, it's tacky now.

TYRONE GA!
Isn't it an offshoot of jail culture? No belts in jail so pants sagged. Or at least that's what my dad told me when I was a kid, he could have been bullshytting to make me stop thinking it was cool.
:ehh:
Pops is right. Couple of my uncles who did serious time said so as well :yeshrug:

Pops and Uncles would g-check me if I even tried that shyt around them too. Only sagged a little when I got to school :pachaha:
