I don't see a lot of dudes my generation (Gen Z) sagging my area thoughWhat'sabout this trend is that it refuses to die off
I see Gen Z dudes sagging when I'm out and about.
Is this the only trend from the 90s still relevant in 2024?
Gangsta nikkaz did not even rock jeans in this era. ... None of them ghetto wack nikkaz wore jeans.. they wore chafon shirts slacks and steppers.
I had totally forgot that! You right!Kids copying rappers and street dudes. Fewer fathers in the home to IMMEDIATELY check that style of dressing, and spiraled since the 90s.
When the hiphop fashion labels exploded in the 90s......dudes were sagging to show off the top band of underwear they had on.
Was tacky then, it's tacky now.
Goes back to 1991 and Eazy E convincing the whole country to be "real nikkas" and being in jail was a way to get street cred.

Doesn't have shyt to do with lack of belts. I heard that growing up too, though.Isn't it an offshoot of jail culture? No belts in jail so pants sagged. Or at least that's what my dad told me when I was a kid, he could have been bullshytting to make me stop thinking it was cool.
