No competent organization like the Giants is a paying a fukking CB $16 million...

Revis is going to have to accept a $12 million per contract if he hopes to play on a competitive team...

I don't see Revis getting any more than a two year deal....unless a shytty team(Oakland, Jax) wants to give him an absurd contract and Revis takes the money.

It would not surprise me if Idzik tries to bring him back to NY now that Davis and Verner are off the market...

He would be celebrated as a genius if he managed to bring Revis back...

Jets have the cap room and are in dier need of a CB...but again dude is going to have to come off his $16 million demands and take something more team friendly...

Yeah, that's a good point....have Tampa pay for his rehab, draft the ROY...and then bring him back and add a pick in the process, lol. I mean that'd be one of the more absurd trades ever.

the jaguars have the same number of playoff wins as the cowboys do in the last 7 years

which team has a franchise qb again ? does it matter ? :heh:

But honestly if the Seahawks still had Tavaris Jackson or Matt Flynn starting all things being equal they don't make the playoffs. As great as Sherman is, I think we are too easily discounting the rest of that defense. Would Sherman be as good not playing around animals like Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas. Maybe but he wouldn't look as good. Russel Wilson does a lot of little things that don't show up on the stat sheets that neither of the aforementioned guys can do. Like it or not QBs have too much of an impact and while I agree the Bears did pay too much for Cutler I understand. As for the Cowboys, yea they are a clusterfukk. I will say this without Romo the Cowboys are a 4 win team. Romo covers up for piss poor playcalling and years of botched draft picks.

Romo and Cutler are both in the...if everything goes right around them and they simultaneously get hot- they could win a Super Bowl group. There's value in that...even if the likelihood is slim. But those specific teams saw what Flacco did and believed that type of run could happen to them too.
