What you fail to recognize or see is that the QB is the toughest position to replace at equal or close value. The Seahawks model will still work if that position is locked up. You can only play one QB. They dont get hurt frequently and they impact every offensive snap. QB's dont start to age till their mid to late 30's. Corners fall off at 29-30.

The Seahawks are good because their defense is excellent. In fact the opposite of what you say is true, and that's why people say Russ is a game manager. So long as you take care of the ball, don't fumble, hand off to Marshawn, you can plug in several different qb's. But that defense is something else.

And this Revis thing has gotten so twisted around it's silly to even respond....it was stupid for the Jets to give Revis a 16 million dollar contract with the state the franchise was in. They absolutely took the Bucs FO behind the woodshed on that trade.
