Better then Damn and TPAB? Better then Cilvia Demo maybe but not Kendrick's albums imo.


Shyyyyyyt... this shyt is a movie nicca ... this shyt is an Oscar worthy movie on wax. Legitimately . It’s literally art. No try hard shyt. No machine . It’s Q doin him and he created a magnum opus .

It's not better than TPAB.
Facts, and don't get me wrong cause I like Blank Face but TPAB was so soulful.

I hear you, it's a great album and very slept on. Even the movie he made to go with it was fire and to me shows Q should try his hand in acting, real shyt.

However I can't say it's better then TPAB or DAMN personally.

No doubt. The amount of work that went into TPAB cannot be overstated. It's one of the most influential albums of this past decade. Maybe its because I played jazz instruments back in the day, but I found myself to easily gravitate towards the vibe Kendrick attempted to incorporate in his sophomore album. After the success of GKMC, it was a big risk to flip the switch like he did. But it paid off, and I give him all the props. That production team was god-tier. With guys like Thundercat, FlyLo, Kamasi Washington, Robert Glasper being involved, musically it's just heads and shoulders above the rest of the other TDE albums for me.
