Reading through this thread got me
for the most part.
Firstly, its patently obvious that a lot of people ain't really f*cks with Q before. Which is cool. He is an acquired taste. But what ain't cool, is to feed into the hype of other people, feed into the TDE / K Dot movement, then sh*t on the album like you let down, when you ain't have a dam clue what to expect in the first place.
I read through all this thread and unless i'm missing something, prescription is barely discussed. That is a highlight for me. Q was vivid in his bars, had me kinda
. Listen to them first 2 verses. His daughter "whats wrong daddy, wake up" ...dam. He telling you nikkaz something, but you ain't hearing. The Oxymoron beat/mood switch works for me on that track, but i appreciate not everyone will fukks with it.
The redundant subject matter comments .... again i'm not sure what you are expecting. Q essentially talks about drugs and crip life. Thats pretty much his life and from the very start he told you what to expect. He puts his personal experiences into them subjects.
Dam Pharrell for that beat, dam 2 Chainz for that verse and dam Tyler for that beat. Everything else is a go. I'm happy with what i got.
