He probably was not updated on current theory and speaking on what he was taught in elementary school. scientists weren't putting those drawings in books my man, ha. and theories are ALWAYS expounded upon (where they can be) when new analyses/technology is able to be utilized, look how my dude Einstein broke down Newton's Law of Gravitation with the "Special Theory of Relativity", he showed that even though Newton's calculations were exact, he wasn't considering everything. was newton "wrong"? no. his theory/law wasn't "reversed", it was just made more precise

How are you gonna tell someone they said something dumb then follow it up with what you just said. A theory doesn't hold more weight than a fact. A fact is already proven, a theory is research based on a hypothesis that has yet to be proven.
