I don't know about you but all those feuds made me route for the face. I hated Triple H at the time and the Steiner feud was good because of all the shyt talking. And the Booker T feud was good just that the finish was terrible.

During that time HHH was getting X-Pac "get the fukk off my TV screen" type heat. Keep in mind we're talking about he dark days Raw when the ratings were falling and Smackdown was almost universally seen as the superior show.

Why do you think your second WWE run didn’t turn out quite so well?

You can say that for a lot of guys. You could say that for everyone. Me, Nash, Goldberg. All the guys that were champions in WCW and I actually think that they took it personal we beat them for 87 weeks straight and he wanted to prove a point that WWE was a better product and even though he acquired WCW, turns out it wasn’t because he didn’t get the fan base. The way everything went down…Vince bought WCW and he can do whatever he wants. Bury it if you want…You have WCW, but you won’t get their fan base if they’re just going to the WWE bullshyt.

Right. I was the same way. I had a chance to go over there early, but they wanted me to take a buyout. Why would I take a buyout when I could sit at home and make all of my money? In fairness Steiner was DONE physically. Fans didn't know it at the time because the last time we saw him he was still in fairly good show, but he suffered a knee injury that pretty much ruined him as an in ring performer.

It's not like with Booker, Jericho, and RVD where they could still work and crowds were going nuts for them yet WWE barely did anything with them.
