Scottie Pippen: Bulls core could've won at least one more ring if Front Office didn't force them out

They at least deserved the chance to lose their titles on the court though. The Bulls might have been out of steam by then and maybe wouldn't have even made it to the Finals playing a team like the Knicks beforehand. But it's just the fact that they never got the chance to actually lose their title as a team is what has always bothered me.

Yeah, Shaq & Kobe and the Heatles both got ran off the court during their last Finals trip and you knew it was over.

That's bittersweet but at least as a fan you know it was a wrap, Bulls fans and NBA fans in general will always wonder if there was any meat left on that bone.

Boston got knocked out decisively by Detroit in 1987 and showtime got swept in Kareem’s final season too. Detroit eventually ran out of gas against the bulls. The Garnett, Allen, & Pierce Celtics got to play until it was clear their run was over after the lockout season. The bulls are the only exception I can think of on the basketball court.

So on top of the 'Bulls would've won in 94 and 95 if Jordan wasn't caught gambling' narrative, we have the 'Bulls would've won in 99 if not for front office' narrative? Bulls would've won 9 in a row, is that right?

Gatorade and Nike fukked up a generation's thinking, my god.
thanks for the hard hitting analysis you salty bytch :umad:

It woulda been close but i think MJ finds a way to beat the Spurs
Woulda been hella close tho
Well, looking at when the bulls did actually face a form of that spurs team in 1998, the bulls went 2-0 vs that twin tower led spurs team jordan dropped 29 and 30 on them, 1st game was a double overtime game that the bulls won without pippen even playing. But the biggest reason the bulls would have beat that spurs team, was rodman, he owned David Robinson soul and they could not keep him off the glass. They also didn't have a defender for jordan.

Not arguing the 99 spurs weren't a better team, but just saying the Jordan led bulls did play against timmy and Robinson and beat them twice. If that's any perspective of what it would look like in the finals.

This is one series I’m not 100% sure who wins and I hate Duncan and the spurs. I still lean towards nobody beating MJ in a finals series but I’m not 100% on it this go round

So running on fumes and struggling equals to winning 62 games and winning in 6 huh?? :russ:

most of yall weren't even born during that season to even be speaking on this, gtfoh!! :pacspit:

I was 13 years old when i was watching the season game in and game out and i can tell you that despite an early struggle start, we were pretty much crusin even with Pippen's injuries. Hell, i even went to two games during that season watching this sh*t in person. They still swept the first round (Every championship with jordan had the first round sweep) 4-1 against the Hornets in the second round (Bj was talking all that sh*t during that series to fire up the GOAT even more) and won every home game against indiana, could've been in 6 had MJ made that .04 seconds 3 after Reggie made that "Miraculous injured 3" fake a*s ankle injury he tried to sell :pacspit:

They embarrassed utah in the finals in that one game they blew them out 90 some to 50 some i believe. You're telling me this team was gonna fall off in 99 especially with a 50 game schedule :bryan:

This team together would've gave the 2000 Lakers a run had they stuck with the same team till then.

So what do you call the 2012 OKC thunder then (On paper the most talented) ?? If the bulls were on fumes, these mothaf*ckas we're a forest fire :russ:

People stay forgetting that MJ only retired in 98 because the Bulls were going to be broken up regardless.

With a 50 game season though i think the Bulls would've had a great shot. MJ would've came back in February fresh as fukk

He actually cut his shooting hand with a cigar cutter that summer.

The odds were stacked against them
