Should won in 2000 with the blazers

Both their legacies change forever if they win

According to consistent Coli logic, if Pippen had won in 2000 and got Finals MVP it would have verified all his titles and he now would be considered a 7-title winner and the definitive GOAT superior MJ, LBJ, and Kobe.

He absolutely should've won it at least once. Don't think it has anything to do with MJ though. Especially back then DPOY was damn near a big man (center and power forward) reward. Might be wrong but pretty sure that in the 90s the only non big man to win it was GP. And even since I can really only think of Kawhi and now Marcus Smart

The odds swung back and forth all season long as there not a consensus guy. Do you have a better argument other than that one video as you were one who is trying to insist otherwise in favor of Jordan?
You're the one who made that claim, I'm still waiting for you to back it up instead of babbling a bunch of nonsense. Also waiting for you to back up why voters didn't award DPOY to Pippen in 94 when Jordan was retired. You seem to be struggling and backing yourself into a wall on both fronts. Do some research and get back to us when you have both figured out. But in the meantime here's other articles pointing out Williams's case for DPOY prior to his injury.

From 27th Pick to the DPOY Convo, Robert Williams Anchors NBA's Most Dominant Defense

Robert Williams' Defensive Player Of Year Odds Worth Second Look

People are obviously missing Pippen's overall comment. Pippen was never viewed as a viable DPOY candidate because the media was fixated on Jordan and him being the anchor of their defense and not Pippen. We see that in the league today where a lot of dudes are taken serious as DPOY candidates as people view other members of their team as the key to their defense. If you don't believe it, look over there at Boston and Robert Williams who doesn't get the credit for what he means to Boston's defense.
He asked you a question that you didn't answer, just a bunch of juelizing. What year was he supposed to have won?

Scottie is right. For all he did for that team he was one of the best defenders in the league. Playing with Jordan he was never going to get his full due.

Is this guy going to continue to moan and cry forever? He said in the Jordan doc he didn't regret not going back into the game in the playoffs but then cries about Jordan apparently trying to paint him in a bad light in the Last dance. Pippen has always been childish as hell

Scottie shut up and just enjoy life, nobody cares about what happened or didn’t happen 20yrs ago. And yea he should’ve won it.

Should have had it wrapped up in the WCF but the refs fouled both Pippen and Sabonis out of Game 7 and gave the Lakers at 37 to 16 free throw advantage so they could squeeze out the victory.

A bunch of the calls in that game were fukking wild.

[media]

This is true, I didn't know he got fouled out

Smh

I knew about the calls but him getting fouled out of the game stinks. Blazers went cold but having their best players leave the game to bullshyt calls is wack
