Listen cut all the bullshyt.

If you watched the last 2 Finals Steph was unable to impose his will in either of them. Now you can be on some nerd shyt and throw stats at me with no context for daps but it's not gonna work.

He was unable to impose his will in either series because he has no physical component to his game that would make him dominant. He has that phenomenal jumper but he was neutralized.

Not to mention the fact that he couldn't fukk with the young gawd Kyrie who was comin for him

:wow:

Never imposed his will in the finals? How he average 11 points in the 4th 2 years ago then? I checked and only Dirk, Shaq and MJ have done that :patrice:

You do know Mark Price made 1st team All NBA :patrice:

And how would he be Mark Price at best when he's bigger, more athletic and a better shooter/scorer?

mark price was not some perennial 1st team all nba guy, that was my point. No one was calling Mark Price a top five guy in the league EVER, let alone comparing him to michael fukking jordan. And curry would be mark price bc he is not bigger or more athletic enough to overcome the more physical play. his shooting is irrelevant once you can put skin on his frail ass and he doesn't have his team that was built to get him looks.

Mark Price was listed at 6'0 170 and was able to have a year where he put up 20/9/3 on 46/41%, but Steph, who measured in at 6'2 without shoes and 181, adding weight since he's been in the league, wouldn't be able to do better :patrice:

It always seems that guys that make a career as great shooters dont get the respect that other scorers(slashers, post up scorers etc.) get. Reggie miller scored all those points in seconds versus the knicks but is often recognized as "one of the greatest shooters ever" instead of "one of the all time greatest players"
Good point

if u cannot understand that curry depends more on the rules and teammates than anyone else in history, then you don't really know basketball. if you put him on some random team in the mid nineties, he would be at best mark price status. he wouldn't be gettin mvps, he wouldn't be first team all-nba. that is because he depends on having lax physicality and others that make it easier for him to get his little fakkit shots off. he is exactly like steve nash in that regard. rule changes and system changes make him look much better than he really is. this little light-skinned fakkit about to get exposed for the second year in a row.

This is lunacy.

Mark Price was All-NBA four times, top-10 in MVP voting four times, made 1st-team All-NBA during Jordan's three-peat.

In 1992 Price took Jordan's Bulls to 6 games in the ECF averaging 19 and 5 on ridiculous 48/55/92 shooting splits.

And Curry is 2-3" taller than Price, FAR more athletic than Price, a FAR better shooter than Price, with FAR greater moves and ballhandling than Price, AND is a better defender than Price.

Come on man, that was the era that Fat Lever made an all-NBA team. Little Kevin Johnson and Tim Hardaway were fighting for 2nd-team All-NBA slots behind Magic/Michael, then 1st-team went to Mark Price when Magic retired, and then when MJ left it was John Stockton and Latrell Sprewell on 1st-team All-NBA. Then you had little Allen Iverson scoring 37 on Jordan and just a couple years later winning an MVP in the hand-checking era when he couldn't even see 6 feet and weighed 165lbs.

Curry is either bigger or faster and more athletic than all those points, and he is FAR more skilled an offensive talent than any of them.

Ya'all just being stupid now.

I've been saying this all along :manny:

When Steph gets physically dominated in this series by Kyrie it will become more apparent.

When Steph isn't shooting well he doesn't really impact the game .

Kyrie > Steph

If Splashius Klay wasnt on the other side of the court spreading the floor out, Curry would avg 14.3 points 7.1 ast 2.6 reb and 1.9 stl a game and we wouldnt even be talkin about him like he's jesus.

Tiny ass jump shooters are only hella dangerous when they have other dangerous shooters on the floor.

I watched that episode, and I don't think Scottie meant it in a disrespectful way.

He was saying that Curry is a great player, but Durant and LeBron can simply impact the game in more ways on the court. While Curry can dominant offensively, by stretching the floor, and with his facilitating, KD/LBJ can do that + defend+ rebound and have the size to be more physically imposing.

He didn't say it right, but I don't think he meant to be disrespectful.
exactly what i took it as

I get what Scottie is saying but he gotta realize the way Steph is dominant offensively as he says is disingenuous because Steph literally can fukk up an opposing teams defense in a way no other PG in the league can do... That's as dominant as you can get without having to be elite defensively playing the other end

It's like when Lawarence Taylor was in his prime.. Offensive coordinators had to game plan for him specifically

Another casual ass poster, Steph avg 17ppg his first year in the league, Klay didn't get drafted until 2 years later, and the other time Steph avg 14ppg a game was in the 2011/2012 season where he only played 26 games.. go ahead and keep posting so you can ride this neg train
