At the beginning of the end credits for Scream 7, there’s a curtain call sequence where each of the key actors in the film is introduced with a brief clip of their character. After that, a mid-credits scene shows Chad, who is now Mindy’s cameraman, readying his sister for her big debut with her report from the crime scene — but Mindy keeps flubbing her intro. When Jamie Lee Curtis did that shyt in Halloween, there were at least people in their homes (who smartly closed their blinds and went tf on with their night)

Curfew was cause of the killings at the school...guess since they a small town, they figured the curfew would keep them safe in their homes

Were the cops on curfew, too? Lol. No patrols around Sid's house and main street, no inquiries at all on their missing police chief bleeding out, nobody in that department who Sid could possibly reach out to?

This movie gets worse the more you think about it

There's been three movies recently that I saw in theaters with 100% good faith, that even if they were not that great, I would have fun with them, but I left each of them with the sense that they weren't only bad movies, but a different kind of movie. The I Know What You Did Last Summer remake, The Housemaid, and Scream 7.

They didn't feel real. The set design and lighting were off. The shots were bland. The writing felt like Tik Tok and Reddit. They gestured at things like feminisim, domestic abuse, trauma in the most cloying and superficial ways. The characters delivered lines that no human would ever say. META is one thing, but these were almost breaking the 4th wall. I Am Sidney fukking Prescotts daughter. They felt like Marvel movies with the fan service. They all made me feel old.

Scream 7 lost all of what made any of those movies good. Like Urban Legend 2: Final Cut is not a great movie, but it's scarier, and more fun than this. And easily so.

Did anyone else notice how the exterior shots of the house looked like a simple 3 bedroom house, and the interior was this vast maze with a panic room and remodeling work being done?

shyt was cringe and not the bad ass line they thought it was

but I did like Sid's "past my prime...fukk you" line

one thing that i love about this movie…
and its something i wanted for some time that the last few havent done is have Ghostface stalking…

when you see him in the theatre dressing room background sneaking up on tatum…

when he slip right past sidney and duck off into the room

little things like that is what the other films except for 1/2 have been missing

3-6 dont have any of that…

also when he makes in grand entrance as he opening the door during the play rehearsal… the cinematography with the music playing was FIRE

alot of classic moments in this film
