Mississippi is so backwards the state has literally lost millions of dollars and thousands of jobs because they won't take down that flag. Over the last 3 decades they have been boycotted and companies have refused to move manufacturing facilities there due to the flag. Yet Mississippi refuses to remove the flag.

That's deep, because Americans are practical people above all else. Integration of college sports happened in the SEC because of that practicality.(West Coast teams coming in and running up the score didn't sit well with the good ol boy SEC fans)

Even Ole Miss just recently got rid of the Rebels team name.

They still have a lot more work to do with reinventing their image....they need to get rid of any and all imagery and namesakes associated with the confederacy.
