He said during the campaign he wanted to "rebuild the military", "BHO did a terrible job", "wanted to get out of Syria", and "get veterans help they deserved".

That's all he's ever really said. and I was like :lupe:, he was going to be doing exactly whats happening.

If we are talking about the military and foreign policy, that was not all he ever said, he also said he would bomb the shyt out of ISIS, kill family member of suspected terrorists, send the military back to Iraq, tear down the Iran deal.

I'm not saying I don't share the frustration, I'll just never understand the militia mindset

I used to be someone who was against investing so much in the military until I went to visit family living overseas who were in the military. The military provides so many benefits honestly, I think it should be invested in heavily.

From reduced college tuition, home loans, retirement benefits, life skills you can't get in college like how to build, how to shoot a gun, how to live off the land, how to be disciplined and have structure. For men, especially black men, it can be a great place to provide structure and life lessons not gotten at home or during high school.

It's not perfect, but most military men I've met are leaps and bounds better than a lot of the so called college educated dudes in terms of character as well as in terms of diversity in education and life experience.
