OMFG
This. As someone who lived in Boston recently, I can tell you that the cost of living alone is a major factor. The fact that one could make 80k in certain parts of the country and still might have to "stretch" their money is telling in itself.
Stop. You not for Med4all the way you were regurgitating white house talking points...as usual, disingenuous motives are revealed after getting pass the talking pointsDo all these things help people? Yes or no?
Without question they do. I have no problem with Medicare for all or other progressive initiatives. My problem is people like you who don't acknowledge concrete steps that help people. You are a loser tho who will always complain about everything.
the other shoe about to drop. Because the Senate made several changes so the House has to vote to approve.
I get that but the Senate are their superiors it should've stopped there. Now if some jackass House member doesn't like the changes they made he/she could stall this billBecause the Senate made several changes so the House has to vote to approve.
The cost of living is low in MS, so 80K can get you far in MS. Same as TN depending on where you're living.
The same can't be said for other parts of the country, which is why I find it crazy that some dudes are acting like 80K is a lot of money. I even had to tell that to a dude this morning who insisted that $1,400 wouldn't make a difference to someone who is making 80K like that's a lot of income coming in.

But cities pay proportion to the cost of living. If $80k ain't enough, the company will give you $100k. Look at San Francisco, is expensive as hell and ain't no way $80k will get much, so companies pay $120k.

Most people probably don't have that problem to keep it funky. Most people I know got the same bank account since forever. That seems way too generous especially with the fukkery that ensued during the last stimulus. They at least gotta give people the opportunity to update their banking account or address info.
