Lol...and for the record, @TrillaMonsoon , you didn't make me quit. I said I wasn't going to continue another season after this one and people didn't like that idea, so they replaced me.

Ain't nothin' worse than a nubber hit five feet in front of the plate. It's never consistent with who it gives you to control. Half the time it's the pitcher; the other half it's the catcher. Then when you field the ball, your player will take his time to gather himself and pat the ball into his mitt before throwing it (inevitably late). It's infuriating.Fielding is fukkery filled. I still dont know how to get my guys to throw strong in motion. On balls hit to my SS or in the gap or something, the fielders will take the time gathering themselves and making the throw. Just doesnt make any sense. I dont know if theres something I'm not doing or it's just something in the game to make sure there are infield hits and people getting extra bases or something.
But Outfield defense took me a while because if you're moving the guy into the catch zone on a line drive he'll probably miss it and if your OF sets his feet then you move the stick, that will cause the bullshyt errors of OF's falling over themselves and missing catches

you move on up to the eastside yet?

I know y'all don't care, but I just had a (relatively) close call in my Franchise. Brewers @ Cubs, and you could tell right away that Wily Peralta had his 2-seam fastball WORKING. Spotting it where I wanted, and Slider was decent enough to play off of it. 2nd batter of the game went full, and I K'd him looking with that Slider. After that, it was smooth sailing til the 7th. No runs, no hits, no walks, no nothing. Then with 2 outs, Rizzo comes up. Had him 2-2, and tried to backdoor him with a Slider, except it gets waaaaaaayyyy too much plate, and he pulls it down the line and out for a HR.
I thought maybe he got too far out in front, but nah, my PG/NH/SO were all gone. Ended up giving up 2 more hits and a walk, so atleast I wasn't one pitch away, but damn, his stuff was good enough to do it. In my entire video game baseball playing days, I've been into the 9th twice with a PG on the line, once with 2 outs (couple years back, '12 I think), and dude hit a swinging fukking bunt to ruin it. I had to put the controller down I was so damn mad.
Just one time I wanna get one man. Just once. With this Brewers team, I think Peralta and Garza will be my best bet to do it, though Lohse is a sneaky pitcher on this game too. One of these days I'll do it. One of these days...

Scherzer was a little over 120 when I took him out; I think Shane Greene was between 110-120.Had your starter in there in the 11th? How many pitches?
I never had one against the CPU. Got to two outs twice. Would rather not get that close.
But I heard if you play @Two Stacks , you got a good shot at getting your perfect game![]()
I've gotten to the 5th and 6th tons of times in RTTS
