you guys don't understand what it's like to be a young girl having the heavy responsibility of mens sexual interest being shoved on you. You see how women are thought of in a sexual way nowadays? It's not kind. At all. And all you're doing is being a kid. And they're basically saying, you have a lustful body and if something happens to you, you provoked it. You attracted that attention. Someone with an interest towards an underdeveloped human being is healthy and normal and the only thing you have to do to prevent it is wear your skirts a little bit longer.

I'm not saying I disagree with her post, I just don't understand why she thinks that flyer is ridiculous. lol sending a girl home from school because her shorts are too short or her bra straps are showing is stupid. I doubt the boys are gonna be distracted by bra straps.

I just want to say, you both sound like complete idiots here.

We all have to have some sense of responsibility and part of this is acknowledging the differences in makeup of men and women.

I just wanted to get that out.

So when your son is sagging his pants, you're not gonna tell him "Pull your fukking pants up and put a belt on." or when you daughter is wearing a skirt that may be a tad too short for your liking(fukk the boys/men, this is about what you feel comfortable with your child wearing.) are you not gonna tell her to "Change into something more appropriate." let alone not buy her a short skirt in the first place?

I don't think sagging your pants is bad in the first place, only cacs and old people get mad at that tbh :mjpls:
looking appropriate is looking appropriate, all this extra language about looking like hoes and their bodies is what I have an issue with. Yall are using adult concepts and mindsets and applying to kids and teens which is unethical imo. You had your youth, let them have theirs without shoving your opinions on sex and clothing on someone who is not as developed as you are, mentally and sexually.

"Y'all"? I haven't said any of that.

I'm confused, are you saying people should allow their kids to wear whatever they want, no matter how inappropriate or down right stupid it is?
And if that's the case, why not take it a step further and allow them to just do whatever they want?

Wouldn't want to polute their minds with petty adult opinions of things like skills and responsibility

I'm saying that if you have children, you should use your discretion and make sure your kids aren't in danger or looking crazy. Your house, your rules. If you don't, and you don't work with kids or really associate with them at all, I think it's dead wrong to not only shame their bodies but use adult language to describe them, their dress or behavior. Not on the coli, I know nikkas are wild here but if you're (not you specifically) on twitter and facebook condemning young ass kids to hoe-dom, talking about dressing like sluts or thots, please kill yourself. It's disgusting. They are children. They way adults ascribe these sexual agendas to teens really does not sit right with me. They're not where an adult is mentally and if the way some dress bothers you and you're in a position to talk to them, pull them aside and explain.
But all this anger and aggression directed at them like they are fully cognizant of sexuality and the consequences of it is misguided and wrong.

Everybody thinks its his alias. IP addresses is in 2 completely different states :francis:

LOL if you think that proves anything.

nikkas act like VPNs don't exist I guess.

Can we get someone on the mod team that actually understands how the internet works? Like oh idk, maybe someone who realizes we also shouldn't be sending passwords and emails over plaintext, considering how many folks don't use password managers and reuse passwords?

I agree with Elle, my old high school used to emphasize that school was a professional environment (funny because it was quite the liberal school) so I'm not understanding the outrage over her saying this. School prepares you for life after school or college. I'd be uncomfortable if I saw someone walking around in nothing but boxers.
