Serious Question for TSC.. Why do you constantly interact with and consume content you obviously don't enjoy consuming?

First TNA episode I ever watched ended on a cliffhanger with Jeff Hardy crouching over a ledge watching Abyss go crazy, I'll never forget that and you can't find a clip of that anywhere online. TNA was bad then too because even as a kid episodes ending on random cliffhangers with no pick up the next week made no sense to me, for all the good TNA was and did, are you really gonna sit here and act like it wasn't absolutely BS a lot of time?

The bullshyt is like an undisputed TNA fact

The reason I don’t buy this is because when I apply it to myself, it doesn’t really make sense.

I hate Tyler Perry movies. I think the quality of his movies are complete ass and make black people look bad. Because of that, I don’t watch Tyler Perry movies. It wouldn’t matter who he employed and put in a film. Idris Elba, Kerry Washington.. shyt, God himself could star in the next Madea, you won’t catch me watching it because I’ve accepted that I don’t the product this muhfukka creates.

What sense would it make if I was first in line at all his movies, ready to critique them? Lol at that point it’s like do I really dislike this guys movies or am I in some weird way getting off to disliking this guys movies?

Well when there is a chance for the consumer to be more satisfied, have them get that full hit, people will always yearn for and discuss that. No matter if they are generally satisfied already. That goes for sports, film, anything really. Active minds always want to improve on what they have.

It's like a fan still watching their team's games when they are a rebuilding franchise. The games are meaningless, but it's still your hometeam, still your favorite sport, and there's always a few bright spots even. And then you discuss how effective the GM/Booker is, Coach/Writers, Player/Wrestler, etc. What is stopping them from reaching full potential?

There's just alot of layers in wrestling to debate, for some it will never get old. Your OP asked why dudes just don't switch hobbies or sports, yet I already knew there would be hella tangents in replies about why wrestling is bad, and not why they don't just find something else. :lolbron:

I want wrestling to be good whether it's WWE or AEW or NJPW. I grew up watching wrestling like everyone else here but I've taken breaks at times when it gets too shytty. When I was a kid I quit watching both WWE and WCW at various times. I quit watching WWE again around the time of the PG era... I couldn't stand it. I quit watching TNA after Hogan and bytchoff fukked it up.

Right now, none of the companies are "terrible" although NJPW is quite boring to me at the moment. I sub to Peacock, NJPW World and I buy AEW PPV's sometimes. I also go to WWE events. I'm gonna criticize something that I paid for and didn't like. Just like going to a restaurant. If I'm paying $50 for a plate and it's mid... I'm gonna complain. If it's terrible, I won't go back. You have to be a real idiot to keep up with something you hate.

I don’t know man, WWE been lookin real missable

:jbhmm:

Granted I haven’t watched in a little while but when I last was paying attention I could not make it through a full show. PLE’s were fine but RAW and Smackdown were not watchable at least for my standards lol

I either fast-forward through the DVR or when I'm watching live I'm also multitasking or watching sports etc. There's performers I want to see and several I don't care about. It's easier than ever to just watch the shyt you wanna watch and skip the rest.

I agree there's been a fall off since the height of the Bloodline saga but it happens, every promotion has peaks and valleys. But I ain't seen nothing creatively on these shows that's "killing the promotion" or any of this hyperbole dudes like to throw around.

the worst I'd say about current WWE or AEW (or especially NJPW) is "boring." PPVs/PLE's are usually very good still, at least to me :manny:

TKO is making it hard. I said I hoped they ain't tryna turn this shyt into UFC with the MAGA glazing and in the last couple weeks that's exactly where they've been leaning
