nah

cole catalog is weak

joey badass catalog isnt crazy but he has more well put together projects. and hasnt made anything as wack as sideline story or kod

Come Up is a solid little tape but 1999 clears for sure
Warm Up and Friday Night Lights are top tier tapes
Sideline Story aged well but still is just meh, couple of his best tracks though. Ironically the singles also aged well.

Born Sinner, especially the deluxe is a great album. Not experimental or anything but all songs besides 1 have their purpose. No real filler outside of Sparks Will Fly which is just the outro on deluxe.

The Truly Yourz tapes are arguably coles best project when combined, really don't understand how this was released as 2 eps. If he dropped these as one project it'd be a lot more known.

2014FHD unanimous classic

The rest of his catalog is pretty mixed depending on who you ask but 4YEO, KOD, Off Season are all at the very least good storytelling and rapping.

Calling his catalog weak especially compared to his contemporaries is retarded

fnl & warm up are good/great but 1999 & summer knights is washing both
forest hills is weaaaakk
Summer Knights is the most forgettable tape from that era. B4.DA.$$ is really good and experimental for him.

Joey takes a lot more risks than Cole ever did and I always thought it was worth it even when yall was hating on Temptation and Devastated

I don’t think KOD was wack at all. But Cole has Friday Night Lights, The Warm Up, Forest Hill Drive, The Off Season and Might Delete Later. All fire.
You didn’t care for FYEO? That’s a top 3 album of his for me. Born Sinner was dope too. Only his first album was mediocre.

calling summer knights forgettable and then saying that born sinner is a great album is crazy. i do think that the truly yours 3 ep(deluxe) is good and shouldve replaced songs on the actual album like forbidden fruit & land of the snakes. Miss America is some of cole best shyt:wow:

Summer Knights has some of joeys best rapping and best songs and clears cole output from 2011-2014. along with crazy verses from the pro era crew

2014fhd is still wack. yall can talk impact and all that bot the album is some mid. it has songs i like but overall its just solid.

wet dreams, apparently, hello, fire squad, gomd:hhh:

personally i think 4yeo should get the love that 2014 gets. the title track is easily his best song ever. and i would highkey put it up there with any rap song from 2010 on

kod. that album is just lame. i like window pain & brackets but every other song is corny. might be one of the corniest albums to come from a highly acclaimed rapper. cole is too surface level & fake deep to pull off the concept

Off season:wow:
thats the one. other than the features its a good/great album. and 95 south is a s tier intro

might delete later. not even gonna bother with a response fro this

like i said. for such an acclaimed rapper his catalog not like that.

kendrick. krit, drake (2011-2018) gibbs. future. Q. Travis. 21savage. yes 21 catalog is dope and better than yall would like to admit he just oversaturated himself

This here.

Cole doesn't have anything remotely close to 1999.

And when he's in the mood to actually spit, Joey could rap circles around Cole.
1) Not really.
2) Joey isn't a superstar who has to balance commercial and purist shìt, this disclaimer shouldn't exist.

Neither of those is “washing” anything at best I will say 1999 is equal to FNL. Only on ur world is Forest Hills weak and Might Delete Later was one of the best projects to release last year.

Even asking this question is an insult to Cole, who's put in mad work as being part of the Big 3 and has an undeniable hip hop classic in 2014 FHD. But this is thecoli and it seems this site has it out for Cole now so I ain't surprised.

Joey does not rap way better than Cole. What does he do rap wise better than Cole? And I been fukkin with Joey since before 1999 dropped.

He's a natural.

I saw dude rap off the head at 16 years old over a bunch of Nick Wiz beats and kill sh*t. Speaking about the clothes people had on and what food was on the table. For over 15 mins. Last year, we all got up and he did it again outside, in like 20 degree weather, lol. It's just next level sh*t. On the other side, I watched Cole try to practice verses he had on paper and struggle to record them right, in the studio.

Joey is naturally nice. Cole ain't. Cole raps like he had to learn how to rap. The dude ain't got no soul. He's dry AF. So I'm going with my guy from Brooklyn. That sh*t comes naturally to Joey.
