At least you admit it. When I tell people who don't want children that it's because they're self-absorbed they get offended lololololol.

Every single person I know in life who doesn't want children at any point in life all same the exact same characteristic of selfishness.

You act like people don't have kids for selfish reasons. The main reason people have kids is to mold them into their idea of what they should be

It's not selfish that I know I'm not built to be a parent.

Nothing about raising a kid entertains me. I have no desire to watch a kid play little league sports, I have no desire to tell someone right from wrong.

2) You're not too selfish to have kids, you not having a kid when you don't want one isn't selfish. Doing what's best for you (if it doesn't hurt someone else) is NOT selfish.

Having children is not best for me. You dont know that because you dont know me. I want to adopt because there are unfortunate children all over the world in distress. i would like a few that are pre-teens and i would love to fund their higher education.

Look just because somebody doesn't want any kids doesn't make them selfish.. In my opinion it makes them smarter than 70% of women with kids with no man around.. At least people don't put them in situation of having kids and not being around to raise them like responsible adults.

I shake my head all the time seeing chicks at bus stops with a baby stroller and another kid waiting on the bus and i'm thinking where's the baby father at? probably getting another chick pregnant or laying up in jail..

I refuse to have child when my first priorities like college loan, car note, rent and my vacation trips are not totally set in gold..

so congrats on all my fellow men and women of coli for not having kids just for the sake of saying i have a kid.

Thats the thing bruh, if you have kids you WON'T shoot yourself in the head at 35 or 50.

And once you have kids and you are a part of their life, you will never be lonely again. You might not always get to do stuff you want, but you'll never complain about being "bored" and shyt.

Sorry, but it isn't selfish to not want kids. I literally have not heard one person give a good reason as to why it is. Because someone wants to be free to travel, eat out, etc. without worrying about kids? That's not selfish. Selfish is having kids, and THEN doing those things when you shouldn't.

Those aren't selfish reasons. If someone doesn't buy a car because they don't want to pay for oil changes, are they selfish? No.

Selfish is when your choices impact another person's negatively. Who is being negatively impacted if there is no kid?

And don't use the reproduce and die argument because our planet is overpopulated. Having a kid is probably one of the worst things you can do to the Earth, you're making another person with a biological footprint, who is most likely going to do the same.
