Completely agree. The problem I have with the gang-bangers is that the type you're referring don't seem to exist out here.
Out here, gang bangers are simply dirty little boys stuck in adult male bodies taking Black lives while wasting their's away.
I was on that tip of working "with" them back in the 90s.
