I did like it, but unless somebody high up in Lumon (Helly?) gave Mark a bunch of free passes, this did not make a lot of sense.

Also hoped to see a bit more of a resolution to Milchik's arc, except for him not backing down to the animatronic Kier he really didn't do shyt this episode.

I loved the season but where S1 stands on it's own, this one now relies on the payoff of S3 for me to really evaluate it properly.

I loved it but season 1's final was better. In the first season the way they managed to tie several intrigues into one was so impressive, it was a knockout blow after knockout blow.

Here the main course was Mark, I guess that we still have season 3 left to see what the fates of the other characters will be.

But there were so many brillant moments.

The back and forth discussion between Innie Mark and Outie Mark.

Outie Dylan :ehh: I found what he wrote pretty profound.

Milchilk. Bro steals the show in every scene. Glad to see that his confrontation with Drummond on episode 9 made him grow a spine. I think that Helly's plea to the band touched a nerve in him. Too bad we'll have to wait for season 3.

Mark and Gemma's reunion. :wow:

The back and forth bewteen Innie Mark and Outie Mark with all the chaos was again brillant, with Drummond dying and Gemma's kiss. Chef Kiss.

This.

Innie Mark and Helly are basically two 9th graders getting their first little taste. Meanwhile, you saw Outie Mark and Gemma that shyt was grown up, adult, we got trauma together love. She went from "OMG, Mark" to "let's get the fukk outta here" in moments like a grown woman would.

I still think my theory on Cold Harbor is totally true. They wanted to see if they could partition the Severance and basically make it so ANYTHING painful or unpleasant you can just shut off and make your "innie" do it. And you could even have separate innies so one isn't overloaded with different shyt.

Fear of the dentist? Innie
Getting beat by your husband? Innie
Seeing a reminder of one of your most traumatic days? Innie

It's vile when you think about it too, because things like rape or torture, you can just zonk out. Means there's NO psychological damage. But, as we see, if an indie ever were to reintegrate....well.
The real fear is you have no control over the innies. They can get fed up and try to kill themselves like Helly tried. Then what?

If we’re being honest… DEI Milchik is a TERRIBLE manager :pachaha:

That nikka definitely getting fired after this
They treated that man like they do black coaches in the NBA. Gave him the promotion with the organization in the midst of turmoil and then fire him in less than 2 years

:wow:

Yeah, they do. Stiller had the entire story planned out.
From the recap, they mentioned that they knew they ultimately wanted to have a scene with Mark in a Hallway having to choose between Gemma and Hallie and wrote to that moment.

Wouldn't surprise me if they have an idea on how things end but getting there could be a work in progress.

I hope S3 starts exactly where S2 ends and there's no time jump. Things need to kick off with them running in the hallway because we need to see how this logically makes sense without Lumon eliminating their innies.

They know Cold Harbor is a success and one could argue that Gemma seeing Mark as she was taking the baby's bed down confirms the procedures effectiveness even more
