I actually really love the exploration of corporate culture basically being religion. Anyone that's ever worked for a fortune 500 on a super large corp probably would have PTSD flashbacks from some of this shyt. Always talking about "family" and "core principles" and "culture".

I was really into the show season 1. Not so much anymore and can't figure why.
I find myself thinking they are doing too much with the innie outie thing. I wanna yell at them all you aren't two different people you just dont remember what you do at work.

I think they know the broad outline of where they want to land, just like the end of Season 1 & 2. It's just painfully obvious S1 was a carefully crafted masterpiece to reach the Helly exposal/She's Alive end credit vs S2 where they had no idea how to get to the money shot of iMark choosing Helly over Gemma.Y'all think the show runners and writers know where to take the story from here? Lowkey the only solution I see is a hostage situation. The innies holding their Outies hostage.
An uprising because there's more Innies than Outies.
The issue with them staying is that they've already shown that they have a killswitch for people that have been severed. We saw this at the end of S1 when they reset, and we saw it when they went on that retreat and Irving got ended. They can't bypass that, so they'll have to show how they negate that element, because it doesn't make sense for them staying on site given everything we know about Lumon and how they operate.
Hell, Drummond was clearly trying to kill Mark after he completed the file, so any doubts that he had after Cobel told him he's worthless to them after he completes the work should have been confirmed right then and there

they can find a way for the severance to invert. or for innies to become dominant.
maybe cobel told gave mark some info that we are not yet privy to.
apply some but to the machine that inverts their chips.
maybe helly R can reintegrate via the good doctor.
You understand that innie Mark leaving meant suicide right?
He didn't want to kill himself, Helly, and Dylan. That makes all the sense in the world.
Mark's actions were in contrast to Dylan's. Innie Dylan found love and was basically committing suicide once Gretchen said she wouldn't see him anymore. Outie Dylan wouldn't let him.
Innie Mark was in love with Helly and chose to stay alive. What happens at Lumon after is unknown to him but that's a risk worth taking.
Choosing Gemma over Helly would make no sense logically. He had no real emotional attachment to her. Outtie Mark did. They drove that point home with their camcorder conversation. People assumed the innie was going to go along with the plan not realizing the sacrifice he was being asked to make.
