ok so did some thinking.
These “innies“ need to get over themselves. They aren’t separate people. There is no inne mark outtie mark. It’s just Mark. He was a dumbass and got a little chip in his head to block out his personal life at work but that doesn’t make you 2 people. “Innie Mark” just needs to realize this and get over it. Do your work and clock out go home. If they are so worried about who they are they all pretty much know by now who they are who they were married to their families etc. So now just act accordingly.
just because you have a crush on a halfway decent looking redhead at work don’t make you a different person

I know my take is not popular and gonna get hate but something was bugging me about this season and I think that’s it

Innies when on have the agency to think, love ...act on their own desires...they feel pain... etc

You just made me realize something....
The reason Cobel was shocked is because she realized Irving had overcome the Severance blocks by himself, without getting reintegrated.
So she's seeing HER technology fail.

I for one was just taken aback that her parents would be okay with her bed being moved to this big corporate place. Like no one bats an eye at this mega corporation taking advantage of people because the people things its a good thing.

She was trying hard to break the chip in season 1 with Gemma’s candle to get a reaction. She would be happy Burt broke the chip.

I think she’s more shocked he has knowledge of something there’s no way he should have seen. It’s locked behind a restricted door way on the other side of OnD which he’d never been to either before Burt gave him directions

possibly...we really don't know much about Irving. I thinks its just as possible he could've been approached by Petey or Raghabi and tried reintegrating. He had way too much info on some of the Lumen employees he knew inside. I do remember a few episodes in the first season he was fukked up sick at Lumen and they never really explained why. I'm not sure how else they could explain how outtie Irv knew about the test floor. Outtie Irv had a nightmare featuring the elevator? I don't believe they've even shown any scenes with innie Irv around the test floor. We've seen that this series aint afraid to evolve characters how we wouldn't expect. I can't imagine that we've seen the end of John Turturo's character.

Of all the shyt that didn't make sense to me this episode....innie Mark choosing Helly made total sense.

I was under the impression that Irving figured out how to "break" the Severance barrier on his own...by intentionally causing sleep deprivation. By not allowing his outie to sleep, he was able to get images from the outer world seep into his innie's naps.
