Who gave them this level of power? Please respond with a mirror in close proximity.
Woj was accurate in a social media climate where people wanted to be first. Then he started to be first. Once you have both (the way TMZ did/has), why go anywhere else?

That said, Woj when he was at The Record >>>>> Woj since he started appearing on TV. He been gassed up since then and honestly, the same could be said for Shams now that he's basically the face of Stadium

This is journalism 101, you have to protect your sources at all times. That's why they give them the information.
That's where the conundrum begins. Protecting your sources, while not accurately at least addressing how strong a source it is. Happens a lot in the sports realm. "A source in the building" could literally be a janitor who thought he over heard something. I don't trust any of these nikkas to think they wouldn't use someone like that to get clicks/views/placements on nationally telecasted media.

We think "it's just sports media" and don't take it seriously, which gives them more leeway to just say whatever the fukk they want. "A source in the executive office" sounds great but it could be the mail room guy. That nikka be walking in and out the executive office. "A source involved in executive decisions" rings louder bells doe. Still not naming, but giving more credence to what's being said.

I say that to say that a nikka like :unimpressed: had a ton more credibility back in the day when we knew the shyt coming out his less louder mouth (:dame:) was probably legit.

Such a horrible profession to exist in, in terms of the moral/human aspects. You’re not really any different than the avg TMZ leech
I remember when Marcellus Wiley broke Harbaugh going to Michigan live on air. Adam Schefter got so mad and went to complain to ESPN bosses bc Marcellus broke the news before he could :heh:

We did indirectly by making them the go to people for sources. Hell, some people will discard sources if it doesn't come from them or someone notable.

That big "Dame Lillard demands a trade" thread proved this. So many comments were like "Oh that's not Woj or Shams, fukk that dude I'm not believing that story" :deadrose:

They work for the fans entertainment not the players bank accounts, they know their priorities :yeshrug:

In the end it doesn’t matter (for the players and their accounts coli stakeholders) as the teams still will pay out that money per the cba

To paraphrase Kenny Powers, he's basically the double headed dildo in the ass-to-ass scene in Requiem For A Dream.

He's the conduit attaching one sexy beast of entertainment to another. All for the our viewing pleasure and dopamine hits. And when their show is over, he ends up being the undisputed least sanitary component of it all. :francis:
