Shanahan mulls sitting RG III for rest of '13 (update RG3 Benched)

I've never quite understood the RG3 bashing (unless it's to poke fun at 'Skins fans) but for the most part, they've been nearly the same QB statistically give or take a few TDs, INTs and the slight sack differential for this year.
Going away from stats, you could argue that RG3 would be better if Shanahan/Snyder/Griffin all 3 weren't overzealous and didn't shoot to play from Week 1 onwards. If Washington just rested Griffin/let him rehab til Week 5, given how open the NFC East was for the first 8-9 weeks, he could've came back healthier and more confident than he is now and Washington could've had a decent shot.
He's "corny". That's all it is. He doesn't have enough edge. Not "black" enough for some.

Makes sense. Dancing for thousands upon thousands of cacs just to make them laugh is the same as going to the club wearing comfortable clothing to hang out with handsome black men and have a good time at a club
