I get that. But he's a black QB. No matter what he did, he'd still get scapegoated. What could he have done differently to avoid getting benched by his coach? Less commercials? more humility? Team guys get benched and turned on all the time. He's a black, athletic QB, folk were going to turn on him anyways.
yea but it's not so bad.. i get what you saying.. shyt donovan got shipped out of philly eventually..
the difference.. i think... would have been how it went down
what if he just shut the hell up in the offseason??
answered with some generic, tom brady type answers
"i'm working on my knee, i'll be back when the coach says i can play, i just wish the best for the team, i support cousins if he plays, as long as the team wins, i love the team.. team... team... team... team.. team... no comment"
instead it was "i'll be 150% first day, let me wear this shirt and bring attention to myself by getting fined, let me tweet that i'm cleared before the coach clears me, let me do 3 press conferences a day to clear up all media concerns, let me make it all about me and blame my teammates" etc etc etc
and i haven't mentioned not one off the field thing or "corniness" i mean really i think shanahan knew his ass shouldn't have been playing and threw him to the wolves on some "told you so" type shyt aimed at him and his pops comments
there's a thing called humility.. it goes a long way.. instead of people being like "fukk him, arrogant a$$hole gets what he deserves"
they'd be like "damn, he was such a team player, he got a raw deal" and blame shanahan right now
right now, PR wise... RG3 is looking like the worst QB in the league.. his PR campaign and public image his in the trash in his own town with his own fans and most of them was black and calling him god last year.. that's not the coach fault
