I don't see how guys like Tony Allen just aren't coaching somewhere.:yeshrug:

Big Baby Davis could easily be doing commentary down at LSU or for the Celtics or whoever with his personality.

Now, the guys who only played a few years in the league, I actually do feel bad for them because they're actually trapped inbetween the regular job world and the celebrity/sports world.

Those no name guys probably have only made a few hundred thousand dollars in their early 20s and probably didn't do well enough in school to get a decent job, but are too famous in their hometowns to work at WalMart or something.

I think at that point, you have two moves.

Either try to coach or be involved some way in your high-school/college.

Or, most as far away from your hometown as possible and live a normal life far away from where anybody knows you.

Cancel culture isn’t a thing. If you make your company look bad you’re going get fired for violating their policies. That’s not cancel culture that’s people being stupid and suffering consequences for it

Cancel culture absolutely is a thing.

This is a dumb response.

Why do you think Shannon doesn't have that struggle? Because he made a plan for what he was going to do and how he was going to make money after that NFL money stopped. These other guys aren't doing that, and when you don't plan ahead you've got to just deal with the scraps that are left by everyone else. :yeshrug:

yep those millions of dollars you made in your playing career eventually gon stop unless you somebody like Jordan and Magic

Nikkas disappoint the shyt out of me :wow:
My friend you can't be disappointed in others, because you rarely truly know them enough to set realistic expectations. That's why I have, low or no expectations for every new person I come across. After they show and prove over a long period of time, I can extrapolate

Imagine going to work and 80% of the people you encounter at and because of work know you from seeing you playing sports on tv. That’s gotta be a fast track to depression.

So is having no active income while being broke, having wages garnished, repossession, etc. Once you fukk up in life 9/10, the immediate set of choices available afterwards are usually shytty, but there's a less shytty one. It goes without saying you're supposed to choose the less shytty option, and build towards not so bad, then decent, then good, then great options

For some reason Americans in particular feel entitled to having good options, regardless of their intelligence, work ethic, morality, or antecedent choices.

Back on topic, tough shyt for the athletes/celebs/musicians/etc. they got to live a life most don't get to taste and the pissed it away, pick yourself up or commit that. Really all there is to it

They can go into coaching. I don’t feel sorry for nobody that tricks off millions. You know by your 2nd year in the league if you are a star or a reserve. Act accordingly.
Any NBA player can go sit on the end of a bench at some mid level D1 school and take home 80k as an assistant coach

It’s multiple layers to it and even you know that.

A lot of this shyt has been public record for years, yet its being brought to the light like it’s new.

When you are supporting your entire family (10+) with homes and vehicles not to mention the entourages, shyt get dicey

Also some of the guys named in that investigation didn't make that much bread, there a lot there that made less that 10 million in total. But as NBA players they lived a certain lifestyle that you can't just quit.

I don't know about "jews" but if you mean shady agents? Hell yeah. Look at how TO got fukked over on his TV contracts and Tim Duncan had and agent/manager-ish a$$hole just forge a check for $10 million. Lots of athletes get fukked over same as musicians. There are also athletes who fukk up their own money. Both things can be true at the same time.

Well yeah that shyt goes on, hell people's own family do that shyt to them too by trying to be their agents. That's more of a "people are garbage" thing imo. We hear about those stories all the time.

But making some outlandish conspiratorial statement like "The Jews did this", is some wild stuff. Most of the time these dudes do that shyt to themselves.
