Everyone needs great players around them the problem is these sensitive annoying Kobe fans get mad whenever they feel he’s not adequately sucked off to their liking.
It is not an insult to Kobe to say if you put Tmac from Orlando on the Lakers with Shaq AND PHIL JACKSON that Shaq could probably win multiple titles.I know earlier I said 3 peat but to be honest that is not something that is realistic like that so I’m gonna say Shaq would’ve won multiple titles with Tmac on the Lakers.

T mac on Orlando was supposed to be playing with Grant Hill but his ankle was fukked up people keep forgetting that.
It was Tmac by himself carrying a crazy load in Orlando seeing all the double teams and it didn’t matter he was still blacking on the entire league
Shaq never mentioned Phil in these scenarios, he only mentioned himself. Shaq didn’t use any context in his message (were the ones filling in the blanks) that’s why I said from the beginning it wasn’t about Kobe, it was more about Shaq thinking he could win with anyone else. I disagree. On paper yes, it seems that he can, but anybody who knows basketball understands that games aren’t won on paper. I really don’t think anyone besides Kobe and maybe Wade would’ve won multiples with Shaq. Why?
Shaq said they were successful because he and Kobe were at odds. Why were they at an odds? A One reason is, Shaq admitted Kobe wasn’t scared of him and Kobe let him know about himself when he was slacking. Kobe was gonna get his respect even if it meant Shaq kicking his ass. Who else in the NBA would’ve stood up to Shaq like that?? Ai, T Mac, nor Vince would have stood up to Shaq like that, he would’ve Lebron’d them, meaning he would’ve put them in their places and established himself as the ONLY alpha. I’m not even going to bring up defense, those guys weren’t changing games with their defense like Kobe did.
Also, Phil marveled at how Kobe ran the triangle and said he was the best at it (documented) and I don’t see any of this other players mentioned running the triangle like Kobe. I just think Kobe had the right attitude towards Shaq in order for the Lakers to 3 peat. Not the others. What separated Kobe from the others, especially T Mac, isn’t physical. It’s the intangibles and the mentality of wanting to be the GOAT. Kobe desired something bigger than Shaq, and that was to be the GOAT or outdo Mike. The others didn’t.
So if T Mac was always injured, he would’ve magically (no pun) been healthy when playing with Shaq? No. How would they win with an injured T Mac. Or are we gonna add in another “if T Mac was” scenario with his health? How many “if” does Mac need to 3 peat with Shaq?
Kobe never needed any “ifs” he just made it happen, even injured. Mentality.
