Do they get to the finals so Magic could even have the opportunity to win finals MVP without Kareem? Do you know Kareem averaged 31 and 12 in the playoffs that same year? Do you know that Kareem averaged 33 pts 13 rebs and 4.5 blks in that same series that Magic got finals MVP and only missed ONE game? Do you know that Kareem was already a champion when Magic entered the league? And a 5 time MVP with his 6th coming in Magic's rookie season? See people give Magic credit even though he was playing with a dominant force in Kareem. Im with that. Yet with Kobe, they use him playing with a dominant force against him. Even though his "dominant force" was one that became unusable in crunch time unlike Kareem who was a career 70ish% FT shooter? And finals MVP is cool and all, but it's one round out of 4. Dominating that one round is great but it doesn't outweigh the totality of the playoffs..

Umm James Harden played in the same "get the ball and do whatever you want" type of system TMac did.So what? And TMac had a high usage rate too. So what?Harden led teams still had way more in season success and went way further in the playoffs than any TMac led team ever did. Yet James gets mocked for his lack of playoff success while TMac gets excuses made for him. So you can say James is a bad example because of how he did it yet that cant apply to TMac?

You call me surface level but leave Phil Jackson's impact to "he taught them how to win"? Explain why Shaq was still lazy? Why did he (his words)stop playing defense when he didnt get the amount of touches he wanted? Why was he still NOT working on his game in the summer (his words)? Why did he hurt the team by waiting until the season was about to start to have a surgery he could have had months earlier?

What TMac showed in his career was that he didnt have the intangibles in his game that Kobe had. Its not automatic that Phil instills that in him...

:wow: Crazy how “real Lakers fan” @NYC Rebel doesn’t acknowledge any of this.

:scust:

Like look at this disgusting shyt you just typed

Thats why I can’t take you serious

The fukk outta here with this bullshyt

James Harden was a Bernie Madoff, 3 card Monty, Ponzi Scheme ass nikka he was nowhere near Wade
You don't like the way James Harden played like some don't like the way (in total not just offense)TMac played. :yeshrug:

Harden who in Houston had a 64% winning percentage in the west and also made it out the first round 5 times is being put below TMac who did what exactly? James did all that AND won MVP and it's laughable to put him close to Wade. TMac did nothing of the sort and you try to place him at eye level with Kobe?

Kobe benefitted from them. But Bron didn’t benefit running to Miami with Wade and Bosh? Running BACK to Cleveland with Kyrie and Love didn’t benefit him? Running to LA with AD and a host of HOF players didn’t benefit him? Make it make sense.

Every star player benefit from their superstar co-stars, but it’s different when it comes to Kobe? He’s not great as them because he benefitted from Shaq and Pau? Stupid reasoning. This is why it’s no need arguing, objectivity goes out of the window. Clown niqqa posting.
Don’t be emotional.

We are all quite happy to admit Jordan, Bron, Tim, Magic, every great star benefitted from good teammates.

Only Kobe Stans whine that he was without help when he had to carry Smush and Kwame.

And only Kobe Stans sit here with a straight face and say Odom and Pau weren’t shyt until they got to play with their Dear Leader Kobe.

There’s a post on one of these threads this week that said it was Kobe who kickstarted the Lakers dynasty…as if Shaq leaving Orlando for LA wasn’t a seismic shift in the NBA landscape.

You guys complain about being trolled only to say the wildest irrational shyt out of the other corner of your mouths.

So to whine about "Kobe Stans" we should ignore the "Bron doesn't have help" narratives that were going on in his first stint in Cleveland? :russell:

What’s that? A mention in casual passing out of maybe 15 comments in this thread?

@10bandz dikk riding racist ass @Everythingg shouldnt be a surprise to anyone.

Cant wait to read his defense of him

Everyone talking basketball in here and instead of talking ball you trying to cosplay as some online pro black? Yet wasnt you going in on Kyrie like cacs were for simply posting a movie that Amazon was selling? You was.

And I've never heard a Spurs fan argue for days about Tim Duncan being replaceable with KG. I've never heard a Warriors fan say that even someone like Draymond or Klay was replaceable with some lesser player. Yet you've been making the argument that TMac, who collapsed in the playoffs time after time, could replace Kobe who was the closer for all 5 of the Laker's last 6 rings? What else you think people are gonna see in that other than you're either a laker fan that doesn't like Kobe (on court) or you're not a Laker fan altogether?
