I think Shaq wins one or two with those guys but not three and it would be his fault. Shaq admittedly came into the 00-01 and 01-02 seasons outta shape and his reason was because he knew he had Kobe. He said that himself.

Mac and Vince had the talent but did they have the mental toughness or whatever the fukk you wanna call it to carry the team while Shaq while he's doggin' it?

Vince nor McGrady were nowhere near the passer Kobe was.

Kobe was more of a maestro and orchestrator when he made assists, Vince and T-Mac were more reactive in their reads. Not saying Kobe was Jokic, but he knew where he wanted to go with the ball. 15 seasons straight of 4-6 APG.

Does Vince or McGrady make this play in a game 7 against a team with Champions and future Champions?

Mind you if that play doesn’t happen there’s no guarantee they win any titles. Getting that first one is the toughest.

Oh yes, the famous tough competition in the West. Which great teams did they face again?

The moment Duncan had some perimeter help in 2003 with a rookie Parker, he was able to get past the Lakers.

The reality is Kobe was a second option on a superteam playing in a league that had no other superteams.

Those three rings he won playing second fiddle to Shaq are fugazi and the media knows it.

Nowhere near the defender Kobe was either.

Oh have it your way Josue

2002-2004 playoff stats
Kobe 25.2 pts 5.5 rebs 5.5 assists
Shaq 30 pts 14 rebs 3 assists

The question isn’t if TMac/VC could score 25 pts but if they could consistently do it under playoff pressure. Look at their careers and the answer is a NO.
Why’d you start at 02 instead of 2000?

Kobe winning 2 without Shaq has no bearing on Shaq's legacy.

Shaq shouldn't even be entertaining these stupid hypotheticals. He was the number one option on the team that won three straight titles. Whether he could win with Vince or Tmac or Ray or what he actually did with Kobe is irrelevant.

He was the undisputed best player in the NBA until Duncan was able to get one in 03.

Any people arguing that Kobe could have won without Shaq in the Early 2000s are fooling themselves. Bryant staged a mutiny in the 2004 finals taking over the offense and couldn't deliver for the LA Lakers. He was not ready to compete at that level.
Whose alt is this?
