Even if Shaq is telling the truth (and he is) it's not a good look that he has to try and shyt on these younger cats. Is he angry that no one has modeled their game after him though Embid is the only one capable of doing so? Is he upset cause of the money they are getting even though i'm sure Shaq earned over 300 million in his career. He hasn't been out of the game long enough to have turned into a salty old man so i don't know what Shaq's issue with these cats is.

If Rudy came at Shaq, then by all means Shaq should shyt on him in return.

Rudy didn't.

If teams had a Shaq they wouldn't be putting him at the 3-point line. When is your dumb ass gon realize the change in play has more to do with a decline in talent across the league than anything else.

Prime Shaq in today's NBA is playing just like he did in the 90s and 00s. He's gonna put every center he plays against right under the basket and is gonna dunk on them. No coach is gonna tell to not do that but instead wait for the double then pass to a 3-point shooter.

Did you even watch the Lakers back in the day? They had shooters around Shaq (i.e. Fisher, Fox, Shaw, etc.). They also were ahead of their time with a stretch 4 in Robert Horry. Shaq saw constant double teams and had shooters yet never got close to 5 apg let alone the asinine 8-10 you mentioned.

Shaq is a scorer. He's gonna get his 30-35 ppg in any era. And he'll do it the same way everytime. With brute strength.

the same Shaq who shytted on Kobe, Wade and other legit ballers? :francis:

:dahell: Shaq never disrespected Kobe's game

His beef with Kobe was personal. Mainly cause he wanted a big brother relationship with Kobe and Kobe being the a$$hole he is not wanting none of that. Then Shaq being as petty as he is couldn't take being rejected by this young arrogant kid so he started the beef. Shaq never said he was better than Kobe. He never tried to downplay Kobe's accomplishments. Hell I've seen him go out of his way to call Kobe the best player in the NBA as far back as 2001 when he was still in his peak. And just in the last few years I've seen him on shows like First Take asking why Kobe ain't in the GOAT debate if LeBron is. He's also called Kobe the greatest Laker of all-time.

Shaq might have hated Kobe's guts. But he has NEVER uttered a slight with regard to Kobe's game. In most cases he went out of his way to give Kobe props as a baller.

I have no idea what you mean with D-Wade. What did Shaq do there?

He’d be forced to adapt to the rules which would alter his game to a certain degree. The question is how much, which is impossible to say.

:what:

You don't get enough expected value playing that way.
Do you understand any mathematical concepts at all?

Yes he has. Multiple times complaining about his style and shooting and not passing to him, etc. More personal fo sho, but yes he has shyt on Kobe's game.

After Kobe passed him in Lakerdom, of course he's gonna call Kobe the greatest laker ever. He had no choice at that point. :unimpressed:

I have no idea what you mean with D-Wade. What did Shaq do there?

mad that he didn't tell hiim Riley was trading him :troll:

Need to take a page out of Bean's book and be trying help foster in the new generation.
One is a snakish hater disguised as a lovable clown, the other actually cared about the game and helped build people, and didn’t give a damn if he was loved or not.

Shaq really thinks he is the GOAT center, and he has these outbursts because he isn’t recognized as the GOAT and still feels slighted.

Generational talents like Shaq don't adapt to rule changes. They change the rules.

Yall keep saying today's game would change Shaq yet I ain't heard yall give one example of something he would need to adjust to. The p*ssy 3-point shooting NBA we see today only happens cause the players of today are inferior to the players of the 90s and 00s.

Prime Shaq would not have to adjust at all. It would be the rest of the league that adjusts to him.

So there's a Shaq in today's game you can cite?

The only reason they have changed the style of play is because there is no one like him around right now. If a young Shaq walked into today's NBA he would play just like he did in the 90s. And he would dominate. He would not be the one forced to change. It would be the rest of the league that is forced to change. Teams would add big strong centers just for the purposes of guarding Shaq.

That's what all-time greats like Shaq do. They force the rest of the league to adjust to them. Not the other way around.

Skinny weakside shotblockers don't bother Shaq.

Do you even understand basketball?

In no situation is Gobert bothering Shaq in the slighest. Shaq is putting him under the basket every play.

I think you’re responding to the wrong post. Go scroll again and start over

The rules changed fairly significantly in the mid 00s preventing another Shaq from ever existing again. Just like Wilt can no longer tip in every shot that was at the cylinder and calling it rebounds and points. Get out of your childhood memories.
