Shaq, the GOAT center, yet gets owned by a 6'9" Ben Wallace in a crucial game 5 of the NBA Finals, but supposedly he would dominate 8x champion Bill Russell :laff:

You realize Ben Wallace was 30 pounds heavier than Bill Russell, right? Bill Russell was smaller than Paul George.

And I shouldn't even have to address it, but cherry picking one game is middle-schooler logic. Shaq Averaged 28/11 in that series.

And I don't know how you can compare Wilt scoring 100 today versus Kobe scoring 81... when:
- Kobe didn't score 100
- Kobe shot 13 3's and went 18 for 20 from the line. Wilt was a career 50% free throw shooter, which means he would likely have to shoot 55 field goals, and 40 free throws to come close to getting 80 points, let alone 100.
- Given the hack a shaq style employed in the NBA right now... he would probably not even be able to attempt 50 shots, they would just keep sending him to the line.

In the last 20 years, no center has come close to kobe's 81. And that is a time that includes prime Dream, Robinson (who came the closest in 94), Shaq, Ewing, etc.

But there was that one game where Ben Wallace got the best of Shaq...

(Even though Wilt, who you're stanning for, was frequently hampered by small forward Bill Russell, whose rings you keep mentioning)

Hit the books, kid. :francis:

Hit the books, kid. :francis:

1) Wasn't the "cherry-picked" game the last one of the series? :francis:

2) In today's game Bill Russell would easily weigh 240, probably more, people eat, lift, and train differently then as opposed to now.

3) So you're saying it's easier to score a 100 points shooting 3s as opposed to being right under the basket? :mjlol:

4) Wilt took 63 shots in that game, if they fouled him everytime they whole squad would have fouled out #dothemath

5) Dream and Shaq in the same sentence? :mjlol:

6) So you admit Bill Russell used to hamper Wilt, but still think Shaq would give him a problem? :mjlol:
