That they don't care. A person will enter into your life, like a tornado, and tear it apart. Leaving you to pick up the pieces. Not only will they not care, they'll pretend not to know why you function the way that you do. As if they have nothing to do with it. They'll gaslight you, tell you they were good to you, blame you for the problems they caused and go right on about their life with not a care in the world. A narcissist is an absolute cancer to anyone who actually has the capacity to care about them.

Don't ignore red flags. Address them and try to move forward. If that's an issue leave. The thing is... you know when a mf toxic. But "reasons" keep us around until it gets to be unbearable but at that point it's already too late.

overall, the things you shouldn’t tolerate.

on a micro level:
1) Getting a better understanding for why they’re like that (no father, abuse, control issues) makes screening girls in the future a better experience.

2) The “fun” about them is the abnormal behavior you’re experiencing. Nothing about her is “better”

3) I personally had (working on correcting it) ego/pride issues. I saw the red flags but both of those emotions wanted to be on top.

I experienced this. She’d turn up but that carries a heavy price.
